Targum sobre Gênesis 37:21

וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע רְאוּבֵ֔ן וַיַּצִּלֵ֖הוּ מִיָּדָ֑ם וַיֹּ֕אמֶר לֹ֥א נַכֶּ֖נּוּ נָֽפֶשׁ׃

Mas Rúben, ouvindo isso, livrou-o das mãos deles, dizendo:  Não lhe tiremos a vida.

And Reuben heard, and delivered him from their hands, and said, We will not kill him nor become guilty of his blood.
