כְּמ֤וֹ הָרָה֙ תַּקְרִ֣יב לָלֶ֔דֶת תָּחִ֥יל תִּזְעַ֖ק בַּחֲבָלֶ֑יהָ כֵּ֛ן הָיִ֥ינוּ מִפָּנֶ֖יךָ יְהוָֽה׃
Como a mulher grávida, quando está próxima a sua hora, tem dores de parto e dá gritos nas suas dores, assim fomos nós diante de ti, ó SENHOR!
Targum Jonathan on Isaiah
Like as a woman with child, who draweth near the time of her delivery, trembleth, and crieth out in her pangs, so have we been, because we have sinned before thee.
