Targum sobre Jonas 1:5
וַיִּֽירְא֣וּ הַמַּלָּחִ֗ים וַֽיִּזְעֲקוּ֮ אִ֣ישׁ אֶל־אֱלֹהָיו֒ וַיָּטִ֨לוּ אֶת־הַכֵּלִ֜ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר בָּֽאֳנִיָּה֙ אֶל־הַיָּ֔ם לְהָקֵ֖ל מֵֽעֲלֵיהֶ֑ם וְיוֹנָ֗ה יָרַד֙ אֶל־יַרְכְּתֵ֣י הַסְּפִינָ֔ה וַיִּשְׁכַּ֖ב וַיֵּרָדַֽם׃
Então os marinheiros tiveram medo, e clamavam cada um ao seu deus, e alijaram ao mar a carga que estava no navio, para o aliviarem; Jonas, porém, descera ao porão do navio; e, tendo-se deitado, dormia um profundo sono.
Targum Jonathan on Jonah
And the sailors were afraid, and each man pleaded from object of reverence, and they saw that there was no benefit to it, and they threw the weights that were on the ship into the sea to lighten it, and Jonah had gone down to the bottom of the corner of the ship and lay down and slept.
