וַיִּקְח֨וּ אֶת־בְּנוֹתֵיהֶ֤ם לָהֶם֙ לְנָשִׁ֔ים וְאֶת־בְּנוֹתֵיהֶ֖ם נָתְנ֣וּ לִבְנֵיהֶ֑ם וַיַּעַבְד֖וּ אֶת־אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃ (פ)
и они взяли своих дочерей за своих жен, и передали своих дочерей своим сыновьям и служили их богам.

AND THEY TOOK: It wants to teach that they didn't withstand the test, and they took their daughters... at the end of the matter it was because of this that they ended up serving their gods
