וְאִם־כָּ֣כָה ׀ אַתְּ־עֹ֣שֶׂה לִּ֗י הָרְגֵ֤נִי נָא֙ הָרֹ֔ג אִם־מָצָ֥אתִי חֵ֖ן בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ וְאַל־אֶרְאֶ֖ה בְּרָעָתִֽי׃ (פ)
И если Ты так поступаешь со мной, убей меня, я молю Тебя из-под контроля, если я обрету благосклонность в глазах Твоих; и не дай мне взглянуть на мою жалость.'
Targum Jonathan on Numbers
But if Thou do this with me, to leave all the labour of them upon me, let me now die with the death in which the just have repose, if I have found mercy before Thee, that I may not see mine evil.
