וְהַפִּשְׁתָּ֥ה וְהַשְּׂעֹרָ֖ה נֻכָּ֑תָה כִּ֤י הַשְּׂעֹרָה֙ אָבִ֔יב וְהַפִּשְׁתָּ֖ה גִּבְעֹֽל׃
И лен, и ячмень были поражены; Ячмень был в ухе, и лен был в цвету.
Targum Jonathan on Exodus
And the flax and the barley were beaten down, because the barley was in the ear, and the flax was making pods.

The flax was (making) pods, for it had cast its flowers.
