לְ֠הָבִיא אֶת־וַשְׁתִּ֧י הַמַּלְכָּ֛ה לִפְנֵ֥י הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ בְּכֶ֣תֶר מַלְכ֑וּת לְהַרְא֨וֹת הָֽעַמִּ֤ים וְהַשָּׂרִים֙ אֶת־יָפְיָ֔הּ כִּֽי־טוֹבַ֥ת מַרְאֶ֖ה הִֽיא׃
na dalhin si Reyna Vasti sa harap ng hari na suot ang korona ng kaharian, upang ipakita sa mga bayan at sa mga pinuno ang kanyang kagandahan, sapagkat siya ay maganda ang anyo.
Targum Sheni
He said "Go and say to Queen Vashti Arise from thy royal throne, strip thyself naked,1[This reminds one of the story of Lady Godiva, whom Leofric, her husband, ordered to ride naked through the town of Coventry.—TRANS.] put the crown upon thy head, take a golden cup in thy right hand and another in thy left, and thus appear before me and the hundred and twenty-seven crowned kings, that they may see that thou art the fairest of all women."
