At isinulat ni Reyna Ester na anak ni Abihail, at ni Mordecai na Judio, nang may buong kapangyarihan, upang pagtibayin ang ikalawang liham na ito tungkol sa Purim.

“And Esther wrote” [9:29]. Esther and Mordecai wrote other letters and the whole Megillah to all the Jews to observe Purim with eating, drinking and fasting.
