וְהוּא֙ לֹא־כֵ֣ן יְדַמֶּ֔ה וּלְבָב֖וֹ לֹא־כֵ֣ן יַחְשֹׁ֑ב כִּ֚י לְהַשְׁמִ֣יד בִּלְבָב֔וֹ וּלְהַכְרִ֥ית גּוֹיִ֖ם לֹ֥א מְעָֽט׃
Ngunit hindi gayon ang kanyang inaakala, at hindi gayon ang iniisip ng kanyang puso; sapagkat nasa kanyang puso ang lumipol, at ang pumuksa ng hindi kakaunting mga bansa.
Ibn Ezra
ידמה He meaneth. Comp. דמיתי I thought (Num. 33:56); דמיון imagination (Ps. 17:12). He does not think that I have sent him to chastise; he only considers how to overthrow every kingdom.

does not deem it so that the decree is from Me, and that I am sending him. יְדַמֶּה koujjder in O.F.
