Komentaryo sa Malakias 3:9: Tze'enah Ure'enah & Rashi

בַּמְּאֵרָה֙ אַתֶּ֣ם נֵֽאָרִ֔ים וְאֹתִ֖י אַתֶּ֣ם קֹבְעִ֑ים הַגּ֖וֹי כֻּלּֽוֹ׃

Kayo'y isinumpa ng sumpa, ngunit Ako'y patuloy ninyong ninanakawan—ang buong bansa.

Tze'enah Ure'enah

“You are cursed with a curse” [3:9]. You were diminished and cursed because of other sins that you are guilty of, in addition to not giving tithes and terumah. They are all alike. None of them observed these commandments. However, not all of them transgressed the other commandments.

Rashi

You are cursed with a curse because of this iniquity, for which I send a curse into the work of your hands; but nevertheless, you rob Me.
