אָ֚ז יִזְעֲק֣וּ אֶל־יְהוָ֔ה וְלֹ֥א יַעֲנֶ֖ה אוֹתָ֑ם וְיַסְתֵּ֨ר פָּנָ֤יו מֵהֶם֙ בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֔יא כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר הֵרֵ֖עוּ מַעַלְלֵיהֶֽם׃ (פ)
Kung magkagayon ay dadaing sila sa Walang-Hanggan, ngunit hindi Niya sila sasagutin; at itatago Niya ang Kanyang mukha sa kanila sa panahong iyon, ayon sa kasamaan ng kanilang mga gawa.
Rashi
Then they shall cry out to the Lord Then, when that time mentioned above, [that] “I will surely assemble Jacob,” comes, they shall cry out to the Lord to do good for them with the will of His people and with the joy of His nation, but He shall not respond to them.
