וְזֹ֣את ׀ תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה הַמַּגֵּפָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִגֹּ֤ף יְהוָה֙ אֶת־כָּל־הָ֣עַמִּ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר צָבְא֖וּ עַל־יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם הָמֵ֣ק ׀ בְּשָׂר֗וֹ וְהוּא֙ עֹמֵ֣ד עַל־רַגְלָ֔יו וְעֵינָיו֙ תִּמַּ֣קְנָה בְחֹֽרֵיהֶ֔ן וּלְשׁוֹנ֖וֹ תִּמַּ֥ק בְּפִיהֶֽם׃
At ito ang magiging salot na ipanghahampas ng Walang-Hanggan sa lahat ng bayang nakipagdigma laban sa Jerusalem: mabubulok ang kanilang laman habang sila ay nakatayo pa sa kanilang mga paa, at mabubulok ang kanilang mga mata sa kanilang mga butas, at mabubulok ang kanilang dila sa kanilang bibig.

“There will be a plague with which the Lord will smite, etc.” [14:12]. The Holy One will smite the nations that waged war against Jerusalem. Their limbs will fall off while they are still alive and standing on their feet. Their eyes will drain out and a hole will be left in their heads where their eyes were. Their tongues will dissolve in their mouths.
