The Third Beit HaMikdash
Since, as indicated by the verse, the Sanctuary building will be high, thick beams will be placed between the wall of the Sanctuary and the wall of the Ulam to stabilize them. Thus, it is written,10Yechezkel 41:25. “There was a thick wooden beam (וְעָב עֵץ) projecting toward the front of the Ulam from the outside.” On that verse, Rashi comments, “Cedar beams were fixed between the wall of the Sanctuary and the wall of the Ulam so that it will not buckle, as stated in Tractate Middos.”11See Middos 3:8 and Rambam’s commentary.
The Third Beit HaMikdash
