At bilang pag-aari ng lungsod, magbibigay kayo ng isang bahaging may lapad na limang libo at habang dalawampu't limang libo, katabi ng banal na handog na bahagi; ito ay magiging para sa buong sambahayan ng Israel.
The Third Beit HaMikdash
The meaning of the phrases, “for a city” and, “for open space” should be understood simply. The phrase, “for dwellings” refers to the dwellings of the city’s workers. The narrative proceeds to explain the size of each of these three areas. Since all three are necessary for the city’s existence, all three are included in the collective term “city,” as in a previous verse,4Yechezkel 45:6. “For the heritage of the city set aside [an area], 5,000 measuring rods wide and 25,000 measuring rods long, facing the sacred portion. It will be for the entire House of Israel.”
