וְהַנּוֹתָ֨ר בָּאֹ֜רֶךְ לְעֻמַּ֣ת ׀ תְּרוּמַ֣ת הַקֹּ֗דֶשׁ עֲשֶׂ֨רֶת אֲלָפִ֤ים קָדִ֙ימָה֙ וַעֲשֶׂ֤רֶת אֲלָפִים֙ יָ֔מָּה וְהָיָ֕ה לְעֻמַּ֖ת תְּרוּמַ֣ת הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וְהָיְתָ֤ה תבואתה [תְבֽוּאָתוֹ֙] לְלֶ֔חֶם לְעֹבְדֵ֖י הָעִֽיר׃
At ang natitira sa haba, katapat ng banal na handog, ay sampung libo sa silangan at sampung libo sa kanluran; at ito ay magiging katapat ng banal na handog; at ang ani nito ay magiging pagkain para sa mga naglilingkod sa lungsod.
The Third Beit HaMikdash
“The remainder [of the 25,000 measuring rod] length along the sanctified [portion of] the Terumah...” – of the 25,000 measuring rods of length, the city occupied only 5,000 – “10,000 to the east and 10,000 to the west” – should be used for fields. “Its produce will serve as food for the workers of the city.”1Yechezkel 48:18.
