Musar para sa Isaias 10:18

And according to common sense, it is proper for man to love his body more than his money, and better dry bread with peace and rest than riches with heavy burdens and troubles ([paraphrasing] Proverbs 17:1). And if Hashem expands his border, he should find an outlet for his money to find rest for his body, and not toil in this world for the sake of monetary gain unless it is good for his body. And he will be a kindly man [who through this] benefits his soul (Proverbs 11:17), provided that he is not among the heavy drinkers of wine, gluttons of meat, eaters of royal dainties, excessively wasting days and nights, [or] excessively engaging in marital relations like roosters, for all these will consume both soul and body (Isaiah 10:18), as will be further explained in it’s [proper] place. And above all it is necessary to protect oneself from anger, as is written (Ecclesiastes 11:10): “banish anger from your heart, and do away with evil from your flesh.”
