דַּבֵּ֞ר אֶל־בְּנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵהֶ֔ם כִּֽי־תָבֹ֣אוּ אֶל־הָאָ֗רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֤ר אֲנִי֙ נֹתֵ֣ן לָכֶ֔ם וּקְצַרְתֶּ֖ם אֶת־קְצִירָ֑הּ וַהֲבֵאתֶ֥ם אֶת־עֹ֛מֶר רֵאשִׁ֥ית קְצִירְכֶ֖ם אֶל־הַכֹּהֵֽן׃
Magsalita ka sa mga anak ni Israel at sabihin mo sa kanila: Kapag nakapasok na kayo sa lupaing ibinibigay Ko sa inyo, at inaani na ninyo ang ani nito, dadalhin ninyo sa saserdote ang isang omer ng unang bahagi ng inyong ani.
On Dreams
[75] Therefore also Moses dedicated a special feast for the “hand-grip of corn,” only not for all but for such as come from the holy land, for “When,” he says, “ye come into the land which I give you and ye reap its reaping, ye shall bring handgrips of corn as a firstfruit unto the priest” (Lev. 23:10).
