וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֵלָיו֙ לָבָ֔ן אִם־נָ֛א מָצָ֥אתִי חֵ֖ן בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ נִחַ֕שְׁתִּי וַיְבָרֲכֵ֥נִי יְהוָ֖ה בִּגְלָלֶֽךָ׃
At sinabi sa kanya ni Laban: “Pakiusap, kung ako ay nakasumpong ng biyaya sa iyong paningin — napag-alaman ko sa pamamagitan ng panghuhula na pinagpala ako ng Walang-Hanggan dahil sa iyo.”

Abbai declared : We also add : A benediction [immediately alights upon him who entertains] disciples of the wise ; as it is said, "The Lord hath blessed me for thy sake" (Gen. xxx. 27); or, if thou wilt, from this passage, as it is said, "The Lord blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake " (ibid. xxxix. 5).
