Mga Sanggunian sa Talmud para sa Job 38:7: Avot DeRabbi Natan, Recension B

Avot DeRabbi Natan, Recension B

16. Israel give forth song, and the ministering angels give forth song. Israel—whence? As it is said: "Hear, O Israel: the LORD our God, the LORD is One" (Deuteronomy 6:4); and the ministering angels—whence? As it is said: "When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy" (Job 38:7)—and you do not know whose praise is the more praiseworthy. When Scripture says: "The anointed of the God of Jacob, and the sweet singer of Israel" (2 Samuel 23:1)—the praise with which you praise before Me is more praiseworthy than that of the ministering angels. And thus it says: "But You are holy, enthroned upon the praises of Israel" (Psalms 22:4).
