לֹ֤א יִתְּנוּ֙ מַ֣עַלְלֵיהֶ֔ם לָשׁ֖וּב אֶל־אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֑ם כִּ֣י ר֤וּחַ זְנוּנִים֙ בְּקִרְבָּ֔ם וְאֶת־יְהוָ֖ה לֹ֥א יָדָֽעוּ׃
Hindi nila iiwan ang kanilang mga gawa upang manumbalik sa kanilang Diyos, sapagkat ang espiritu ng pakikiapid ay nasa kanilang kalooban, at hindi nila kinikilala ang Walang-Hanggan.

R. Huna pointed out a discrepancy between verses: It is written, “For the spirit of harlotry has led them astray” (Hosea 4:12) but is it not also written, [For the spirit of harlotry] is within them” (Hosea 5:4)? First it only causes them to err, but ultimately it enters into them.
