וַיָּ֤רֶב הָעָם֙ עִם־מֹשֶׁ֔ה וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ תְּנוּ־לָ֥נוּ מַ֖יִם וְנִשְׁתֶּ֑ה וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לָהֶם֙ מֹשֶׁ֔ה מַה־תְּרִיבוּן֙ עִמָּדִ֔י מַה־תְּנַסּ֖וּן אֶת־יְהוָֽה׃
Kaya nakipagtalo ang bayan kay Moises at sinabi nila: “Bigyan ninyo kami ng tubig upang makainom kami.” At sinabi sa kanila ni Moises: “Bakit kayo nakikipagtalo sa akin? Bakit ninyo sinusubok ang Walang-Hanggan?”
