וַיֵּצֵא֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשֵּׁנִ֔י וְהִנֵּ֛ה שְׁנֵֽי־אֲנָשִׁ֥ים עִבְרִ֖ים נִצִּ֑ים וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ לָֽרָשָׁ֔ע לָ֥מָּה תַכֶּ֖ה רֵעֶֽךָ׃
Lumabas siya nang sumunod na araw, at narito, dalawang lalaking Hebreo ang nag-aaway. Sinabi niya sa may kasalanan: “Bakit mo hahampasin ang iyong kapwa?”

They met Moshe and Aharon who were waiting to meet them as they were leaving Pharaoh.

This is the [exact] thing that we told you in Egypt saying, ‘Leave us alone and let us serve the Egyptians.’ It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than we should die in the desert.”

They did not listen to Moshe, and some men left some over until morning. It became wormy and putrid, and Moshe was angry with them.
