וְכִֽי־יִמְכֹּ֥ר אִ֛ישׁ אֶת־בִּתּ֖וֹ לְאָמָ֑ה לֹ֥א תֵצֵ֖א כְּצֵ֥את הָעֲבָדִֽים׃
At kapag ipinagbili ng isang lalaki ang kanyang anak na babae bilang alilang babae, hindi siya lalaya gaya ng paglaya ng mga alipin.
II Kings
La femme de l’un des jeunes prophètes vint se plaindre à Élisée, disant: "Ton serviteur, mon époux, est mort: tu sais que ton serviteur révérait l’Éternel. Or, le créancier est venu prendre mes deux jeunes enfants pour en faire ses esclaves."
Leviticus
If a man lies with a woman in a conjugal manner, and she is a maid-servant designated for a [specific] man and she has certainly not been redeemed, or her freedom was not given to her; there shall be an investigation they shall not be put to death, for her freedom was not given to her.
Exodus
If a man strikes the eye of his slave, or the eye of his female slave, and destroys [blinds] it, he shall set him [the slave] free as compensation for the eye.
