At itiningin ni Lot ang kanyang mga mata, at nakita ang buong kapatagan ng Jordan, na ito'y buong nadidiligan—bago winasak ng Walang-Hanggan ang Sodoma at ang Gomorra—gaya ng halamanan ng Walang-Hanggan, gaya ng lupain ng Ehipto, sa dako ng Zoar.
