וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוֹשֻׁ֜עַ אֶל־הָעָ֗ם לֹ֤א תֽוּכְלוּ֙ לַעֲבֹ֣ד אֶת־יְהוָ֔ה כִּֽי־אֱלֹהִ֥ים קְדֹשִׁ֖ים ה֑וּא אֵֽל־קַנּ֣וֹא ה֔וּא לֹֽא־יִשָּׂ֥א לְפִשְׁעֲכֶ֖ם וּלְחַטֹּאותֵיכֶֽם׃
At sinabi ni Josue sa bayan: “Hindi ninyo kayang paglingkuran ang Walang-Hanggan, sapagkat Siya ay Diyos na banal; Siya ay Diyos na mapanibughuin; hindi Niya patatawarin ang inyong mga pagsalangsang at ang inyong mga kasalanan.”
