לֹֽא־יוּמְת֤וּ אָבוֹת֙ עַל־בָּנִ֔ים וּבָנִ֖ים לֹא־יוּמְת֣וּ עַל־אָב֑וֹת אִ֥יש בְּחֶטְא֖וֹ יוּמָֽתוּ׃ (ס)
Hindi papatayin ang mga ama dahil sa mga anak, at hindi papatayin ang mga anak dahil sa mga ama; ang bawat tao ay papatayin dahil sa sarili niyang kasalanan.
Targum Jonathan
Fathers shall not die either by the testimony or for the sin of the children, and children shall not die either by the testimony or for the sin of the fathers: every one shall die, by proper witnesses, for his own sin.
