וְהָיָ֡ה בְּשָׁמְעוֹ֩ אֶת־דִּבְרֵ֨י הָֽאָלָ֜ה הַזֹּ֗את וְהִתְבָּרֵ֨ךְ בִּלְבָב֤וֹ לֵאמֹר֙ שָׁל֣וֹם יִֽהְיֶה־לִּ֔י כִּ֛י בִּשְׁרִר֥וּת לִבִּ֖י אֵלֵ֑ךְ לְמַ֛עַן סְפ֥וֹת הָרָוָ֖ה אֶת־הַצְּמֵאָֽה׃
at mangyari, na pagkarinig niya sa mga salita ng sumpang ito, ay pagpapalain niya ang kanyang sarili sa kanyang puso, na sinasabi: “Magkakaroon ako ng kapayapaan, kahit lumakad ako ayon sa minamabuti ng aking puso” — upang idagdag ang nadilig sa nauuhaw;
Targum Jonathan
or it be that when he heareth the words of this curse he become reprobate in his heart, saying: I shall have peace, though I go on in the strength of the evil desires of my heart: so that he will add presumption to the sins of ignorance.
