כִּֽי־יִשְׁאָלְךָ֥ בִנְךָ֛ מָחָ֖ר לֵאמֹ֑ר מָ֣ה הָעֵדֹ֗ת וְהַֽחֻקִּים֙ וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוָּ֛ה יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ אֶתְכֶֽם׃
Kapag tinanong ka ng iyong anak sa darating na panahon, na nagsasabi: “Ano ang mga patotoo, at ang mga batas, at ang mga alituntunin na iniutos sa inyo ng Walang-Hanggan na ating Diyos?”
Targum Jonathan
When thy son, in time to come, shall ask thee, saying, What are the testimonies, statutes, and judgments which the Lord our God hath commanded you?

And if your son asks you in the future about the reasons behind the testimonies, statutes, and judgments that Allah, our Lord, has commanded you
