אָמַ֤רְתִּֽי אֲנִי֙ בְּלִבִּ֔י לְכָה־נָּ֛א אֲנַסְּכָ֛ה בְשִׂמְחָ֖ה וּרְאֵ֣ה בְט֑וֹב וְהִנֵּ֥ה גַם־ה֖וּא הָֽבֶל׃
Sinabi ko sa aking puso: “Halika ngayon, magbubuhos ako ng alak nang may kasayahan, at tamasahin mo ang mabuti”; ngunit narito, ito man ay walang kabuluhan.

I said in my heart, I will go now and try mirth, and behold the good of this world; and when pain and affliction befell me, I said by the divine word, Also this is vanity.
