וְאַתָּ֣ה תֶחֱזֶ֣ה מִכָּל־הָ֠עָם אַנְשֵׁי־חַ֜יִל יִרְאֵ֧י אֱלֹהִ֛ים אַנְשֵׁ֥י אֱמֶ֖ת שֹׂ֣נְאֵי בָ֑צַע וְשַׂמְתָּ֣ עֲלֵהֶ֗ם שָׂרֵ֤י אֲלָפִים֙ שָׂרֵ֣י מֵא֔וֹת שָׂרֵ֥י חֲמִשִּׁ֖ים וְשָׂרֵ֥י עֲשָׂרֹֽת׃
At ikaw ay pipili mula sa buong bayan ng mga lalaking may kakayahan, na may takot sa Diyos, mga taong tapat, na namumuhi sa di-tapat na pakinabang; at italaga mo sila sa ibabaw ng bayan bilang mga pinuno ng libu-libo, mga pinuno ng daan-daan, mga pinuno ng tiglilimampu, at mga pinuno ng sampu-sampu.

But thou shouldst elect from all the people men of ability who fear the Lord, upright men who hate to receive the mammon of dishonesty, and superappoint them to be heads of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties, and of tens.
