וַיֹּ֨אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶל־יְהוָ֗ה רְ֠אֵה אַתָּ֞ה אֹמֵ֤ר אֵלַי֙ הַ֚עַל אֶת־הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה וְאַתָּה֙ לֹ֣א הֽוֹדַעְתַּ֔נִי אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־תִּשְׁלַ֖ח עִמִּ֑י וְאַתָּ֤ה אָמַ֙רְתָּ֙ יְדַעְתִּ֣יךָֽ בְשֵׁ֔ם וְגַם־מָצָ֥אתָ חֵ֖ן בְּעֵינָֽי׃
At sinabi ni Moises sa Walang-Hanggan: “Masdan Mo, sinasabi Mo sa akin, ‘Iahon mo ang bayang ito,’ ngunit hindi Mo ipinaalam sa akin kung sino ang isusugo Mo na kasama ko. Gayunman ay sinabi Mo, ‘Kilala kita sa pangalan, at nakasumpong ka rin ng lingap sa Aking paningin.’
Targum Jonathan
And Mosheh said before the Lord, Lo, what hast Thou said to me, Take this people up? but Thou hast not made me to know whom Thou wilt send with me. By Thy Word Thou hast said, I have ordained thee with a goodly name, and thou hast found favour before Me.
