וַיַּחְפְּר֧וּ כָל־מִצְרַ֛יִם סְבִיבֹ֥ת הַיְאֹ֖ר מַ֣יִם לִשְׁתּ֑וֹת כִּ֣י לֹ֤א יָֽכְלוּ֙ לִשְׁתֹּ֔ת מִמֵּימֵ֖י הַיְאֹֽר׃
At naghukay ang lahat ng Egipcio sa paligid ng Ilog upang makakuha ng tubig na maiinom, sapagkat hindi sila makainom mula sa tubig ng Ilog.

And the Mizraee digged about the river for water to drink, but could not find them pure; for they were not able to drink of the water from the river.
