וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לָבָ֗ן ט֚וֹב תִּתִּ֣י אֹתָ֣הּ לָ֔ךְ מִתִּתִּ֥י אֹתָ֖הּ לְאִ֣ישׁ אַחֵ֑ר שְׁבָ֖ה עִמָּדִֽי׃
At sinabi ni Laban, “Mas mabuting ibigay ko siya sa iyo kaysa ibigay ko siya sa ibang lalaki; manirahan ka sa piling ko.”
Targum Jonathan
And Laban said with deceit, It is better that I give her to thee, than to another man abide with me.
