הַצִּילֵ֥נִי נָ֛א מִיַּ֥ד אָחִ֖י מִיַּ֣ד עֵשָׂ֑ו כִּֽי־יָרֵ֤א אָנֹכִי֙ אֹת֔וֹ פֶּן־יָב֣וֹא וְהִכַּ֔נִי אֵ֖ם עַל־בָּנִֽים׃
Iligtas mo ako, isinasamo ko, mula sa kamay ng aking kapatid, mula sa kamay ni Esau; sapagkat natatakot ako sa kanya, baka siya ay dumating at patayin ako, pati ang mga ina kasama ang mga anak.
Targum Jonathan
Deliver me I pray, from the hand of my elder brother, from the hand of Esau, for I fear him: for he hath been mindful of the glory of his father; lest he come and smite the mother with the children.
