וְאֵ֛ת שֵׁ֥ם הַשֵּׁנִ֖י קָרָ֣א אֶפְרָ֑יִם כִּֽי־הִפְרַ֥נִי אֱלֹהִ֖ים בְּאֶ֥רֶץ עָנְיִֽי׃
At ang pangalan ng ikalawa ay tinawag niyang Efraim, “sapagkat pinagbunga ako ng Diyos sa lupain ng aking kapighatian.”
Targum Jonathan
And the name of the second he called Ephraim; for he said, The Lord hath made me mighty in the land of my affliction, as he will make the house of my father mighty here in their afflictions.
