וַיָּ֤קָם יוֹנָה֙ לִבְרֹ֣חַ תַּרְשִׁ֔ישָׁה מִלִּפְנֵ֖י יְהוָ֑ה וַיֵּ֨רֶד יָפ֜וֹ וַיִּמְצָ֥א אָנִיָּ֣ה ׀ בָּאָ֣ה תַרְשִׁ֗ישׁ וַיִּתֵּ֨ן שְׂכָרָ֜הּ וַיֵּ֤רֶד בָּהּ֙ לָב֤וֹא עִמָּהֶם֙ תַּרְשִׁ֔ישָׁה מִלִּפְנֵ֖י יְהוָֽה׃
Ngunit tumindig si Jonas upang tumakas patungong Tarsis mula sa harap ng Walang-Hanggan. Bumaba siya sa Jopa at nakakita ng isang barkong patungong Tarsis. Ibinayad niya ang pamasahe nito at sumakay siya roon upang sumama sa kanila patungong Tarsis, palayo sa harap ng Walang-Hanggan.

And Jonah got up to flee to the sea, from before prophesying in the name of the LORD, and went down to Joppa and found a ship that was leaving to the sea, and he gave the toll and went down in it to go with them on the sea from before prophesying in the name of the LORD.
