תִּֽפְלַצְתְּךָ֞ הִשִּׁ֤יא אֹתָךְ֙ זְד֣וֹן לִבֶּ֔ךָ שֹֽׁכְנִי֙ בְּחַגְוֵ֣י הַסֶּ֔לַע תֹּפְשִׂ֖י מְר֣וֹם גִּבְעָ֑ה כִּֽי־תַגְבִּ֤יהַ כַּנֶּ֙שֶׁר֙ קִנֶּ֔ךָ מִשָּׁ֥ם אֽוֹרִידְךָ֖ נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃
דײַן מוֹראדיקײט האָט דיך פֿאַרפֿירט, די מוטװיליקײט פֿון דײַן האַרצן, דו װאָס װױנסט אין די שפּאַלטן פֿון פֿעלז, װאָס פֿאַרנעמסט די הײך פֿון באַרג. װען זאָלסט דערהײכן װי אַן אָדלער דײַן נעסט, װעל איך פֿון דאָרט דיך אַראָפּנידערן, זאָגט גאָט.
Sod Yesharim
As it is said to him [Amalek], “You who dwell in the clefts of the rock (Jer. 49:16),” who can bring us down to earth? For Amalek was descended from Yitzchak and Rivkah. Therefore, the only option is to fight with force against Amalek to show that there isn’t a moment when Israel isn’t serving God.
