עֲבָדִים֙ מָ֣שְׁלוּ בָ֔נוּ פֹּרֵ֖ק אֵ֥ין מִיָּדָֽם׃

קנעכט געװעלטיקן איבער אונדז, ניטאָ קײן אױסלײזער פֿון זײער האַנט.

“Slaves” [5:8]. Slaves ruled over us and there is no redeemer from their hands.

“With our souls” [5:9]. We risked our necks because of bread from the sword of the wilderness.
