וְעָמַ֤ד עַל־כַּנּוֹ֙ נִבְזֶ֔ה וְלֹא־נָתְנ֥וּ עָלָ֖יו ה֣וֹד מַלְכ֑וּת וּבָ֣א בְשַׁלְוָ֔ה וְהֶחֱזִ֥יק מַלְכ֖וּת בַּחֲלַקְלַקּֽוֹת׃
און אױף זײַן אָרט װעט אױפֿשטײן אַ נִבֿזה, װאָס מע האָט ניט אַרױפֿגעטאָן אױף אים דעם גלאַנץ פֿון מלוכה; און ער װעט קומען אין מיטן פֿון שלום, און װעט קריגן די מלוכה מיט גלאַטע רײד.

And a contemptible person will stand on his base Then the kingdom of Rome will strengthen itself on its stand, as it says (Obad. 1:2): “you are very despised,” and the Romans will rise and take the kingdom from the Greeks.
