וְעָלָ֨ה הַגְּב֥וּל ׀ דְּבִרָה֮ מֵעֵ֣מֶק עָכוֹר֒ וְצָפ֜וֹנָה פֹּנֶ֣ה אֶל־הַגִּלְגָּ֗ל אֲשֶׁר־נֹ֙כַח֙ לְמַעֲלֵ֣ה אֲדֻמִּ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר מִנֶּ֖גֶב לַנָּ֑חַל וְעָבַ֤ר הַגְּבוּל֙ אֶל־מֵי־עֵ֣ין שֶׁ֔מֶשׁ וְהָי֥וּ תֹצְאֹתָ֖יו אֶל־עֵ֥ין רֹגֵֽל׃

און דער געמאַרק איז אַרױפֿגעגאַנגען קײן דבֿיר פֿון דעם טאָל עָכוֹר, און האָט זיך געקערט צפֿון-צו קײן גִלגָל, װאָס אַקעגן דעם אױפֿגאַנג פֿון אַדוֹמים, װאָס דָרום-צו פֿון דעם טײַך; און דער געמאַרק איז אַריבער צו די װאַסערן פֿון עֵין-שֶמֶש, און זײַן אױסלאָז איז געװען בײַ עֵין-רוֹגֵל.

And it turned northward to Gilgol. When it reached Gilgol, the boundary widens, and the borderline extends northward to Gilgol which is opposite Maalei-adumim, whose elevation [Maalei] is south of the Valley. The valley therefore is outside the borderline and is not within the boundary of Yehudah.
