Tze'enah Ure'enah
“And the word of the Lord” [34:12]. The word came to Jeremiah saying, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel” [34:13]. Thus says the God of Israel: I made a covenant with your ancestors on the day that I took Israel out of Egypt, from the house of Pharaoh, where they were slaves.
