פּירוש אויף ירמיהו 46:23

“They will cut down her forest, declares the Lord, though it cannot be measured” [46:23]. He compares the people of Egypt to the wood of the forest. They will be cut off and chopped down like wood. The people of Nebuchadnezzar will not be examined and will not be counted because they are so numerous. They will be more numerous than locusts.

for they are innumerable [lit. it shall not be fathomed, i.e.,] the number of their host.
