עַל־הֶ֨הָרִ֜ים אֶשָּׂ֧א בְכִ֣י וָנֶ֗הִי וְעַל־נְא֤וֹת מִדְבָּר֙ קִינָ֔ה כִּ֤י נִצְּתוּ֙ מִבְּלִי־אִ֣ישׁ עֹבֵ֔ר וְלֹ֥א שָׁמְע֖וּ ק֣וֹל מִקְנֶ֑ה מֵע֤וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ וְעַד־בְּהֵמָ֔ה נָדְד֖וּ הָלָֽכוּ׃

װעגן די בערג װעל איך אױפֿהײבן אַ געװײן און יאָמער, און װעגן די פֿיטערפּלעצער פֿון מדבר אַ קלאָג, װאָרום זײ זײַנען פֿאַרװיסט, אַז קײן מענטש גײט ניט דורך, און זײ הערן ניט קײן קָול פֿון פֿי; פֿון אַ פֿױגל פֿון הימל ביז אַ בהמה זײַנען אַנטלאָפֿן, אַװעק.

An allusion to the matter [is that the numerical value for] “and the beast” (בּהמה) amounts to fifty-two, and the computation is exact, in Tractate Megillah [should read: Yoma 54a].
