הָיִ֗ינוּ מֵֽעוֹלָם֙ לֹֽא־מָשַׁ֣לְתָּ בָּ֔ם לֹֽא־נִקְרָ֥א שִׁמְךָ֖ עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם לוּא־קָרַ֤עְתָּ שָׁמַ֙יִם֙ יָרַ֔דְתָּ מִפָּנֶ֖יךָ הָרִ֥ים נָזֹֽלּוּ׃
מיר זײַנען געװאָרן װי דיװאָס דו האָסט קײן מאָל ניט געװעלטיקט אױף זײ, װאָס דײַן נאָמען איז ניט גערופֿן געװאָרן אױף זײ. הלװאי צערײַסטו די הימלען און נידערסט אַראָפּ, די בערג זאָלן זיך טרײסלען פֿאַר דיר;

We were now like a people whom You did not choose ever to rule over them, and it is as though Your name was not called upon them.
