כְּאִ֕ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אִמּ֖וֹ תְּנַחֲמֶ֑נּוּ כֵּ֤ן אָֽנֹכִי֙ אֲנַ֣חֶמְכֶ֔ם וּבִירֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם תְּנֻחָֽמוּ׃
װי אײנער װאָס זײַן מוטער טוט אים טרײסטן, אַזױ װעל איך אײַך טרײסטן; און אין ירושלים װעט איר געטרײסט װערן.

As one whom his mother comforteth. Every woman has compassion upon her child.22And therefore the figure is here used of the comfort given by the mother to the crying child, when punished by the father.
