בַּעְנָשׁ־לֵ֭ץ יֶחְכַּם־פֶּ֑תִי וּבְהַשְׂכִּ֥יל לְ֝חָכָ֗ם יִקַּח־דָּֽעַת׃
אַז מע שטראָפֿט דעם שפּעטער, װערט דער נאַר קלוג;און אַז מע לערנט דעם קלוגן, קריגט ער קענשאַפֿט.

When a scorner is punished, a fool gains wisdom Through the chastisements of scorners, fools gain wisdom and return [to God] in repentance.
