אַל־תִּתְהַדַּ֥ר לִפְנֵי־מֶ֑לֶךְ וּבִמְק֥וֹם גְּ֝דֹלִ֗ים אַֽל־תַּעֲמֹֽד׃
זאָלסט זיך ניט שײנדלען פֿאַרן מלך, און אין דעם אָרט פֿון גרױסע לײַט זאָלסטו ניט שטײן.
Rashi
Do not glorify yourself before a king to show your honor and to be proud before one who is greater than you, because it is better that they say to you, “Come up here,” than that you should go without his permission, and they should tell you, “Go down, get out.”
