וְאָבַ֤ד מָנוֹס֙ מִקָּ֔ל וְחָזָ֖ק לֹא־יְאַמֵּ֣ץ כֹּח֑וֹ וְגִבּ֖וֹר לֹא־יְמַלֵּ֥ט נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃
און אַנטרינונג װעט פֿאַרלאָרן זײַן פֿון דעם פֿלינקן, און דער שטאַרקער װעט ניט אָנהאַלטן זײַן כּוח, און דער גיבור װעט ניט ראַטעװען זײַן נפֿש.
Tze'enah Ure'enah
“Flight will fail the swift, the strong will find no strength” [2:14]. The same person, where people used to come to hide in his house because of his strength, will be destroyed. The strong one will not have any heart to be protected and the hero will not protect his body.
