וַחֲמֵ֨שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֜ים הַנּוֹתָ֣ר בָּרֹ֗חַב עַל־פְּנֵ֨י חֲמִשָּׁ֤ה וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ אֶ֔לֶף חֹֽל־ה֣וּא לָעִ֔יר לְמוֹשָׁ֖ב וּלְמִגְרָ֑שׁ וְהָיְתָ֥ה הָעִ֖יר בתוכה [בְּתוֹכֽוֹ׃]
און די פֿינף טױזנט װאָס בלײַבן אין דער ברײט, פֿאַר לענג פֿון די פֿינף און צװאַנציק טױזנט, דאָס זאָל זײַן װאָכעדיק, פֿאַר אַ שטאָט צום װױנען, און פֿאַר אַ פֿרײַען פּלאַץ; און די שטאָט זאָל זײַן אין מיטן פֿון דעם.
The Third Beit HaMikdash
It is stated, “the city shall be in its midst,” i.e., in the center of this strip. “These are its measures: the northern side, 4500 [measuring rods], the southern side, 4500 [measuring rods], the eastern side, 4500 [measuring rods], and the western side, 4500 [measuring rods].”5Ibid. 48:16. “The perimeter [of the city] will be 18,000 measuring rods. And the name of the city from that day will be ‘God is there.’ ”6Ibid. 48:35.
