און זײ האָבן אים איבערגעבעטן מיט זײער מױל, און מיט זײער צונג פֿלעגן זײ אים ליגן זאָגן.

Sometimes, however, it happens that the world is, as it were, exactly balanced between the two. Then if there is but one righteous person to turn the scale, the world is saved; but if one wicked, then the whole world is condemned to death.
